126 <br /> <br /> Mr. Nick DelBoccio, 3717 Bairn Court, indicated that the <br /> Little Leagues have no funds and that the user fee is passed on the <br /> citizens who are already paying City taxes. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br /> Resolution No. 90-219 be adopted, approving the addition of one <br /> full-time park maintenance position, with the understanding that a <br /> portion or all of the staff cost may be offset by fee for service, <br /> and provided that a Task Force consisting of two Park and <br /> Recreation Commissioners and representatives of each of the youth <br /> sport co-sponsored organization groups be formed to review the <br /> issue of fee for service and to prepare recommendations for Council <br /> consideration, as set forth in the Staff Report. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Council then continued discussion on the other items on the <br /> Agenda. <br /> <br /> Item 6d <br /> RZ-90-6, Cit7 of Pleasanton, Consideration of an Amendment to the <br /> Siqn Ordinance, Section 18.96 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, (1) <br /> to Allow Real Estate Siqns to be Displayed for More Hours than <br /> Currently Permitted, and (2) to Amend Commercial "For Sale/Lease" <br /> Sign Requlations in All Applicable Districts <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:459) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br /> application. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the public <br /> hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr indicated that she has been advised to abstain on <br /> this matter in view of the nature of her work. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes that real estate signs be <br /> displayed only on the properties that are for sale. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> - 28 - <br /> 11-20-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
