MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Item 10a <br /> PUD-90-11, Application of James Yes for Planned Unit Development <br /> Rezoninq and Development Plan Approval Which Will Allow the <br /> Subdivision of an Approximately 14,732 Square Feet Site into Four <br /> Separate Lots with Four Existinq Dwellinq Units Located at 991 Rose <br /> Avenue <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:418) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1484 be adopted, approving PUD-90-11, the application <br /> of James Yee for planned unit development rezoning and development <br /> plan approval which will allow the subdivision of an approximately <br /> 14,732 square foot site into four separate lots with four existing <br /> dwelling units located at 991 Rose Avenue, as set forth in the <br /> Staff Report. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 10b <br /> Ordinance No. 1486, Approvinq the Application of JaJnes and Susan <br /> McDowe11 for Development Plan Approval to Construct a Nine-Parcelm <br /> Sinqle-Family Residential Project on an Approximately 3.75 Acres <br /> Site Located at 2503 Vineyard Avenue, as Filed Under Case PUD-90-3 <br /> <br /> Ms. Nancy Storch, 3193 Chardonnay Drive, commented that <br /> approving the project before the realignment of Vineyard Road <br /> presents an extreme risk of accidents, particularly for the <br /> children in the area who would have to ride the school bus. She <br /> requested Council to set a policy that no further development on <br /> Vineyard Avenue would be approved until the realignment is <br /> completed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes explained that one of the reasons Council <br /> considered this development was because it was the last piece of <br /> property near the City limits that was not included in the Fertile <br /> Crescent Study area. He added that Council has set a policy not to <br /> consider any development until a decision is made on the Ruby Hill <br /> <br /> 10-16-90 <br /> - 14 - <br /> <br /> <br />
