SPECIAL AND INFORMATION REPORTS <br /> Item 7a <br /> Actions of the Zoning Administrator and of the Design Review Board <br /> and the Planning Commission at Their Meetings of March 26-27, 1991 <br /> (IR 91:15) <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner expressed concern about the applications under <br /> Z-91-32, Debra Moriarty and Z-91-31, Outdoor World, Inc. regarding <br /> window signs and tenant sign, respectively, and requested Staff for <br /> a copy of the City's policy on window and tenant signs. She then <br /> inquired if projects acted upon by the Zoning Administrator, Design <br /> Review Board and Planning Commission automatically come before the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated that Staff would bring back a report on the <br /> City's policy regarding window and tenant signs at a future Council <br /> meeting. She added that projects acted upon by the three bodies <br /> come before the Council only if they are appealed. <br /> <br /> 8. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Item 8a <br /> Expiration of Tenant Representative Term on the Housing Authority <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer indicated that the term of Marion Lowe as Kottinger <br /> Place representative on the Housing Authority Board of <br /> Commissioners will expire on May 1, 1991 and that applications for <br /> the vacancy would be received until May 2, 1991. <br /> <br /> Item 8b <br /> Advertisement for Appointments to Art in Public Places Committee <br /> Created by Council Resolution No. 89-527 (SR 91:127) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that no applications were received the first <br /> time appointments to the Art in Public Places Committee was <br /> advertised. He added that a request was made to reopen the <br /> application period for appointment to the Committee. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr suggested that more people may apply if Staff <br /> identified some requirements such as level of responsibility, time <br /> commitment and frequency of meetings. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler agreed with Ms. Mohr and indicated that the <br /> Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council (PCAC) has been interested in the <br /> Committee for some time now. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested the Parks and Community Services <br /> Department to come up with a report on the requirements before <br /> reopening the application period for the Committee. <br /> <br /> - 18 - <br /> 4-2-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
