She indicated that <br /> she would like to keep the area as it is at this time. <br /> <br /> Mr. Richard Martin, 3536 Vine Street, a Pleasanton resident <br /> for five years, stated that he felt very fortunate to be able to <br /> live in the area and would not like to see it changed. He <br /> indicated that he understood Mr. Ales' desire to build some homes <br /> and requested that these not be townhouses or duplexes. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dillard, a little girl of about 10 years of age, stated <br /> she has lived at 452 Linden Way all her life and that her family <br /> has lived there for 15 years. She indicated that she would not <br /> like to see big houses built in her area and that she did not want <br /> things to change from what they are now. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br /> public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler stated that a R-1-10,000 zoning would respond to <br /> the neighbors' requests and that there is no consideration of <br /> townhouses or condominiums in this application. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Resolution No. 90-105 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br /> environmental impact study done for this project and on a finding <br /> that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in <br /> the City's guidelines and on further finding that a negative <br /> declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-91-1, the <br /> application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone five parcels <br /> totalling approximately 1.8 acres located at 3655, 3683, 3731 <br /> Vineyard Avenue and 495 Linden Way (located Within the Remen Tract) <br /> to the R-l-10,000 Zoning District. <br /> The roll call vote was as followst <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr inquired what the average parcel size in the Remen <br /> Tract is. <br /> <br /> - 6 - <br /> 7-2-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
