The City will also give businesses the <br /> option to make an advance deposit in July. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver asked how the businesses were noticed of this item <br /> for tonight's meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi replied that two presentations were given to two <br /> committees of the Chamber of Commerce and a presentation was also <br /> given to the Board of the Downtown Association. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked that the Downtown Association and the Chamber <br /> of Commerce put a notice in their newsletters. <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi stated that the Chamber of Commerce had suggested <br /> that. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1550 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br /> waiving further reading thereof, amending Chapters 5.04, 5.08, <br /> 5.16, 5.20 and 5.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, concerning <br /> Business Licensing and Taxation. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 7.
