He felt it was inappropriate for <br /> children to visit such a place in the condition the library was in. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta pointed out that City staff and the library staff <br /> were in the process of creating a sign in/sign out procedure for <br /> the rooms in order to assign responsibility to those who are <br /> creating the mess. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked that a report be prepared for Council on <br /> the maintenance efforts in the library. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver asked that a staff report be provided to Council on <br /> County budget cuts which would impact social services in the Tri- <br /> Valley. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver requested that Council receive any information <br /> about County development plans that effect the City as soon as <br /> possible, in order to give the Council a chance to schedule it on <br /> the agenda if necessary. <br /> <br /> 9- CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> LAVWMA/TWA <br />/&BAG <br />ACAP/ACTEB <br />'Alameda County Waste Management Authority <br />Alameda County Transportation Plan Committee <br />Fertile Crescent Study <br />Mayor's Affordable Housing Task Force <br />Tri-Valley Transportation Council <br />League of California Cities <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr updated the progress of ACAP. She indicated that <br />there was going to be a meeting the following evening that she <br />believed would bring a resolution to the problem. The direction <br />would be to have ACAP be adopted as an advisory board to the Board <br />of Supervisors for the next two years. She said she would provide <br />additional information at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer asked if the South Livermore Valley Area Plan was <br />the Fertile Cresent Study. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr answered no.
