105 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, <br />directing staff to report back to Council with alternatives to <br />revisions to the Growth Management Program Ordinance. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as followS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarvet and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />Ordinance No. 1562, Amendinq the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />Reqardinq Siqns on Main Street <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer abstained from this item because he owns stock in <br />one of the downtown banks which would be directly affected by this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 1562 be adopted, approving the amendment to the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding signs on Main Street. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr and Tarvet <br />NOES: Councilmember Scribner <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Ordinance No. 1564, Amendina the pleasanton MUnicipal Code <br />Regarding Adjustment to Council Salaries <br /> <br /> Dagmar Fulton spoke in favor of adjusting the Council's <br />salaries. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr suggested that the $3000 that Council would receive <br />within the year as an adjustment be denied as to salaries but, used <br />for purchasing children's books for the library. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer did not object to Ms. Mohr's suggestion. He felt <br />that the amount of the raise ($6 per week) was insignificant and <br />that it would make more sense if the raise were denied to put it <br />back in the general fund. <br /> <br />6/23/92 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
