243 Mr. Pico offered to change to an alternate member of the Tri- Valley Affordable Housing Committee and let Ms. Mohr serve as the member. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, appointing Councilmembers to the various regional and local boards, commissions and task forces; changing Ms. Mohr to the alternate and Ms. Scribner to member of the Affordable Housing Task Force. An amended motion was made by Mr. Pico and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to include that Ms. Mohr would serve as member of the Tri- Valley Affordable Housing Committee and Mr. Pico would serve as the alternate. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 8f Approval of Commlssioner's Handbook and Description of Current Boards and Commissions (SR92:514) Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. Ms. Scribner and Ms. Mohr both commented that staff did a good job in putting this together. Ms. Mohr said that this would help in the interview process to encourage applicants for the different Commissions. Mayor Tarver asked that the names of the current appointees be added to this handbook. Mr. Pico felt that an organizational chart of the City, with the various departments and department heads, should be added to the handbook. He suggested including the names and addresses of the various committee members. Ms. Acosta stated that the phone number of the members would be given separately to Council at a later time. Mayor Tarver indicated that there is an Altamont Pass Coalition the would be meeting in Tracy at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Pico offered to serve as the member of this Coalition and attend the meeting if Ms. Mohr would serve as the alternate. 12/15/92 17
