421 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Mr. Pico, that the sidewalks are <br /> stamped concrete throughout downtown, with a contrasting border. <br /> <br /> The roll Call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmember Scribner <br /> NOES: Coiuncilmembers Mohr, Pico and Mayor Tarvet <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Molar, and seconded by Mr. Pico, that the cobblestones remain in <br /> the same dimensions as would correspond what they would have been with the bulb-outs; that <br /> the ceramic tile pictures would be set in the corners; where it will fit with handicapped ramps. <br /> <br />( The r011 call vote was as follOwS: <br />Z AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />~ NOES: Councilmember Scribner <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Council took a break at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council reconvened at 8:45 p.m. <br /> <br /> Item 13a <br /> Overnight Parking Restriction Kamp Drive (SR93:47) <br /> <br /> Bill van Gelder, Traffic Engineer, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> In response to Council's concerns, Mr. van Gelder said that if there was cooperation <br /> from the car owners the excess overflow of parking on the street could be substantially reduced, <br /> if not totally eliminated. He then described where the permitted parking spaces are located. <br /> There are some vehicles which sit in the spaces for long periods of time and others are moved <br /> daily. Mr. van Gelder further explained that there is adequate parking in this area at this time. <br /> It depends on how it is used. This issue was brought to the attention of staff because of Health <br /> and Safety concerns as well as the look of the vehicles on the street. Most of the vehicles are <br /> of those who live in the Rose Park duets. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver believed this problem would be resolved best by the Homeowners <br /> Association. If the CC&R's are not changed by the Homeowners Association's then it should <br /> be heard by Council and resolved by staff. <br /> <br /> 02/02/93 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
