He stated that this enforcement is legal and necessary and <br /> cited legal cases and ordinance in other cities. He urged Council to support staff <br /> recommendation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if he, Mr. Stanton (GSMOL) were willing to support this financially as <br /> well as his general support. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stanton said yes. It would support the City to the greatest extent possible. <br /> <br /> Scott Caner, 2678 N. Main Street, g22, Walnut Creek, Suburban Management <br /> Brokerage, Property Manager for Jerry Wagner (owner of Pleasanton Mobile Home Park), <br /> stated that Mr. Wagner has offered protection to the seniors in the Park by offering a rent <br /> aleferment program. He noted that this program will not be available to the seniors if this <br /> ordinance is adopted. He spoke in opposition to the ordinance and fiather explained the <br /> alternatives that Mr. Wagner had available (i.e. increase in rents, closing of park or f~ing law <br /> suit). <br /> <br /> Greg Burton, Tenant Representative of Pleasanton Mobile Park, spoke in support of this <br /> item and urged Council to approve this ordinance. <br /> <br /> 02/02/93 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
