The overall County plan is slowed at this point. <br /> <br /> Airport Land Use Commission <br /> Ms. Mohr then inquired about the delay on the Airport Land Use <br /> Commission action to allow a committee to be fo=~ed. Since the <br /> Commission took action, what is Pleasanton's course of action? <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush indicated that item is a closed session item with <br /> regard to consideration of legal action. <br /> <br /> There was discussion regarding a proposal of Supervisor <br /> Campbell to convene a committee to discuss issues in the Valley. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver suggested sending a letter indicating Pleasanton's <br /> concerns about the Airport Protection Area and other concerns <br /> affecting the Valley. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated staff could draft a letter to Alameda <br /> County, Livermore and Dublin suggesting they participate in <br /> discussions. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr indicated that at the work session a primary concern <br /> was to delay action to allow the committee to be formed in order to <br /> negotiate a contractual agreement that would affect airport <br /> expansion. This action has now taken that opportunity away. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated that is true only at the moment. The <br /> committee could make that recommendation and could potentially <br /> modify the APA. <br /> <br /> Sewer Issues <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver referred to a letter from EBDA regarding a reduced <br /> capacity alternative. Council needs to set a workshop to discuss <br /> the various sewer options to give direction to the Pleasanton <br /> representatives. <br /> <br /> There was discussion regarding dates for workshops. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush pointed that LAVWMA had an agenda item on 1/20/93 <br /> regarding capacity with EBDA. <br /> <br /> Council then discussed the various issued with regard to sewer <br /> capacity and the position of the City of San Leandro.
