It was determined that a workshop would be scheduled for February 23, 1993 to discuss sewer issues. Toll Road Mr. Tarver referred to a flyer received from the California Toll Road Company referring to Pleasanton City Council's position on the toll road. Mr. Tarver inquired if Council wanted to place an item on the agenda to change Council's position on the toll road. Mr. Pico supported that. Ms. Mohr indicated Council's position was not in support, but to seek more information, an EIR, etc. Mr. Tarver disagreed. He felt the resolution supported the road if funding could not be found. It was not the same resolution adopted by the Tri-Valley Transportation Council. Mr. Tarver indicated the Pleasanton resolution was supportive of using the toll road option if funding could not be found in the next five years. Ms. Mohr indicated if there was no public funding and no opportunity for Highway 84 to be improved, then Council would be interested in seeing what opportunities the toll road presented. It was decided not to put the item on the agenda at this time. Hacienda Business Park Mr. Tarver referred to a letter from Prudential requesting modification of the PUD conditions regarding traffic, sewer and water capacity, so it can build out the Park without difficulties in marketing. It is Prudential's intention to start an initiative. Mr. Tarver wanted to avoid an initiative as a land use planning tool. He encouraged working with Prudential. Ms. Mohr stated that if Prudential wants to make the November ballot, there is time to work with Prudential. She agreed there should be cooperation. Ms. Acosta suggested formation of a subcommittee or the Mayor to work with staff. Mr. Pico suggested working with Prudential to get a plan everyone supports, then taking it to the voters. 01/19/93
