He explained that those trees that are not on the <br /> list would be considered on a case-by-case basis. <br /> <br /> There was discussion on the water needs for varieties of tuff, 20-gallon standard and <br /> percentage limits. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br /> Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela, was concerned with the State law regarding this matter. <br /> He explained that if the City did not respond to that law by the first of this year, the State law <br /> would be in place. He asked to which would the new developments be required to adhere. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift explained that as of January 1 the City has been applying the State law to all <br /> new landscape plans. Model homes are required to have demonstration landscaping that meets <br /> the guidelines. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Council agreed to refer this matter to the Planning Commission and Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission as recommended by staff. <br /> <br /> Item 14(1 <br /> RZ-9304. C-N NeighbOrhOOd COmmercial DiStrict, Of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code to expand the list of permitted and conditional uses in that <br /> zoning district (SR93:342) <br /> <br /> Brian LaBuff, 120 Main Avenue, Suite G, Sacramento, Cormoily Development, Inc., <br /> stated that he concurs with staff and the Planning Commission recommendations and requested <br /> approval. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico was not in favor of the change concerning the hardware store. He felt that it <br /> would make a tremendous impact on the existing store across from the shopping center. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver and Mr. Pico did not object to having these as conditional uses but were <br /> opposed to permitted uses. <br /> <br /> 08/17/93 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
