CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br /> The Calendar was reviewed and no changes were made. <br /> <br /> 10, MATYER$ INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br /> Item 10a <br /> Appointment to Library Advisory_ C0mmi~i0n (SR93:257) <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that Resolution No. 93-110 <br /> be adopted, appointing Toni Rimer as a Regular Member of the Library Commission. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Seribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 10b <br /> AOpointments to Economic Development COmmittee and Clarification of Role and Scope <br /> of Conunittee (SR93:346) <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked that Section 2, Numbers 1, 4, 10 and 11, of the draft resolution be <br /> amended to read "a member of the group". The Council would then determine if the group <br /> should make its own appointments. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr added that she and Mayor Tarver were really impressed with the enthusiasm, <br /> ideas and positive reaction that the Committee had at its last meeting. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that Resolution No. 93-111, <br /> be adopted, clarifying the role and scope of the Economic Development Advisory Committee, <br /> and making the appointments to the Committee as recommended by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 08/17/93 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
