79 <br /> <br /> Mr. Fields was angry that he was having a difficult time receiving deliveries. He add <br />that he was disappointed that he lost the bid for the green carpet that was being used downtown <br />during construction. He believed that Council was not aware of how businesses were really <br />doing financially. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico indicated that had visited and introduced himself to most of the businesses <br />downtown. He too was disappointed that Mr. Fields was unable to provide the grass carpcling. <br />He felt that the downtown has gone through the worst of the construction and all businesses need <br />to give coordination and cooperation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fields asked if the City would consider purchasing the Heinz property to use for <br />additional downtown parking. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta pointed out that the sidewalks, on Mr. Fields' block would be poured by next <br />week per Redgwick Construction Company. <br /> <br /> Staff was directed to work with merchants regarding the delivery schedules and to gather <br />information regarding the potential use of the Heinz property. <br /> <br /> Birdie Bianchi, 4329 Railroad Avenue, pointed out discrepancies in the letter addressed <br />to Gary Smith from Michael Roush regarding her fence line. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked that Ms. Bianchi talk to staff regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bianchi stated that she had already spoken to staff and now wanted to speak to <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver agreed to meet with Ms. Bianchi at her home on Saturday, 10:130 a.m. to <br />discuss this matter. <br /> <br />13.
