43 <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr inquired about tables which include chessboards and asked if that was possible <br />to add to the plan. She asked that staff re. se~ch these types of tables and bring the results back <br />to Council with the street furniture proposals. <br /> <br /> Mr. Iserson understood that the five benches that the City would be purchasing would <br />match those donated from Tulancingo. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, approving the Historical <br />Museum Frontage Plan: add 1-2 tables and chairs in the area near the drinking fountain at the <br />museum; the walkway to Hacienda Del Sol to be completely brick; and the existing concrete <br />walkway leading to the Museum be stamped concrete to match the sidewalks. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that staff direct the Sister <br />City Committee to order five aluminum benches and any additional benches it wishes to <br />purchase; and to accept any donations from Tulancingo for matching benches. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Jim Muck, President of the Sister City Association, explained that Tulancingo has offered <br />to match whatever the City of Pleasanton purchases in benches. <br /> <br /> Council discussed the number and location of the benches as well as the appropriate <br />number of seals. <br /> <br />05/18/93 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
