42 <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet believed that this application does comply will the conditions of approval <br /> and, therefore, supported the request. He reiterated the conditional use process. Mayor Tarvet <br /> explained that this is an issue with zoning not for or against Hope Hospice. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Tarver, to approve a conditional use permit as filed under Case UP- <br /> 93-14 for Hope Hospice, Inc.; but deleting Condition No. 4. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Resolution No. 93-65, be <br /> adopted, approving a conditional use permit as filed under Case UP-93-14 for Hope Hospice, <br /> Inc. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Plco and Mayor Tarvet <br /> NOES: Councilmember Scribner <br /> ABSENY: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Council took a break at 9:10 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council reconvened at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> Item 14c <br /> Historical Museum Frontage Plan (SR93:206) <br /> <br /> Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br /> There was general discussion on the durability and the positions of the aluminum benches <br /> and the proposed light posts. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver requested that the tables be added back into the plans for the front of the <br /> Museum. <br /> <br /> In response to Council' s questions, Peter Shutts, an architect, explained that the walkway <br /> leading to Hacienda Del Sol could be completely brick, 1-2 tables with chairs could be added <br /> near the drinking fountain at the museum, and the existing concrete path to the museum could <br /> be stamped concrete to match the pathways. <br /> <br /> Dagmar Fulton, representing the Historic Museum, believed that the walkway should <br /> remain as proposed. She found it difficult to walk on the brick or cobblestone walkways. She <br /> also believed that additional tables and chairs should not be added. <br /> <br /> 05/18/93 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
