Robert Cordtz, 262 W. Angela, spoke in concern of the operation of the INS's <br /> equipment. He requested that the lint filters and laundry run-off be monitored and that a <br /> progress report be given to him. <br /> <br /> Kim Mosley, 123 Ray Street; Martin Murray; Kathryn Hahn, 4074 Walnut Drive; and <br /> Grace lVlartel, Walnut Drive, spoke about the noise impact this company has had on the <br /> neighborhood. It was suggested that the hours of operation be limited to daytime hours. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Mr. Pico, initiating an amendment to <br /> Chapter 18.120 of the Municipal Code (Non-Conforming Uses) to adopt provisions for <br /> amortizing non-conforming uses, with an amortization period to be determined on a case-by-case <br /> basis for each use; directing staff to hold discussions with INS and to bring back an amortization <br /> schedule for INS for Council' s review; and directing staff to inquire what other regulati6ns may <br /> apply to this use. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as folloWS: <br /> AYF_~: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pie, o, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, to begin a process to rezone <br />-- the site and relocate the use. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as folloWS: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pie, o, Scribner and Mayor Tarvet <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Mayor Tarver, directing staff to consider <br /> other means to solve the noise problems associated with this company's use of the property. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pie, o, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 12/14/93 - 5 - <br /> <br /> <br />
