110 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 93-142, (1) authorizing staff to forward a letter to CMA and MTC expressing the following _. <br /> priorities of Pleasanton: $15 million for 1-580/1-680; $30 million for the BART west Dublin <br /> station; $20 million for 1-580/84; $5 million for extended bus service; and $2.2 million for <br /> Altamont Rail, and (2) endorsing these projects for inclusion in the federal National Highway <br /> System Reauthorization Bill. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, requesting funding for two <br /> highway projects (1-580/1-680 and 1-580/84) and one transit project (BART Stoneridge Station); <br /> if this is not possible then request funding for two highway projects. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6d <br /> Request of Rotary Club to waive fees for its use of the Senior Center to host a community <br /> dinner for Seniors (SR93:444) <br /> <br /> Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked how it is determined which organizations are charged a fee to use the <br /> Senior Center. He was concerned with setting a precedent. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson explained that there is a policy for renting the various facilities. There are <br /> different categories according to sponsorship, etc. The policy does give preference to those <br /> which are doing an event that will raise money for the Senior Center or for seniors. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr was very pleased with the Christmas dinner that the Rotary sponsors each year <br /> and agreed that now the City has a tremendous facility in which to hold the event. <br /> <br /> 11/16/93 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
