It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that Resolution No. 93-130, <br />be adopted, approving the waiver of the lower-income housing fees for the 16 designated units <br />in the Kaufman and Broad's California Reflections Development (PLID-91-17); with the <br />additional provision that there will be a recorded document in which the City will capture the <br />lower-income housing fee in effect at the time of the first resale of each of the designated 16 <br />units. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Report Regarding City Position on Prop. 172 and Measure A: The 1/2 Cent Sales Tax Issue <br />(SR93:386) <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Resolution No. 93-131, be <br />adopted, supporting State Ballot Measure 172 the Local Public Safety Protection and <br />Improvement Act of 1993 and Alameda County Measure A, to the extent that they establish <br />secure and predictable revenue sources to support city and county public safety services. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as followS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Item 7a <br />Revised Smoking Ordinance (SR93:394) <br /> <br /> Mr. Beougher presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr inquired about removing the vending machines in locations where smoldng is <br />not allowed. She felt that it was important that this ordinance be the same as the surrounding <br />cities so that Pleasanton's businesses are not at a competitive disadvantage. She supported the <br />first reading of this ordinance but was unsure that she would be supporting the second reading. <br />This would depend on what the other cities adopt. <br /> <br />10/12/93 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
