REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br /> Item 6a <br /> Approval of Additional Funding for Tri-Valley Transportation Plan (SR93:407) <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, to authorize an additional <br /> $5,000 for completion of the Tri-Valley Transportation Plan. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6b <br /> Request of Kaufman and Broad for Waiver of Lower-Income Housin~ Fees for 16 <br />- Moderate-Income Units (SR93:412) <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked that it be made very clear to those who participate in the program that <br /> they will have to give back the fee when the houses are first resold. <br /> <br /> Mr. Beougher explained that the procedure will be to record a document that will indicate <br /> what will be done at the time of the first resale. <br /> <br /> Robert Cordtz, 262 W. Angela, felt that the conditions should include the recapture of <br /> fee upon resale. This is the fee that is in place at that time. He inquired about the six month <br /> limitation and asked what will happen after six months. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift explained that Kaufman and Broad have six months to sell these units to <br /> moderate income households. If it is unable to sell the units within that period of time, then it <br /> could pay the fees and sell the units at market rate. <br /> <br /> Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, supported Mr. Cordtz's recommendations. <br /> <br /> 10/12/93 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
