TO MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING IN-L!EU <br /> PARi,2 DEDICATION FEES, <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked why the dollar amount of the fee was not in the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush explained that the fee was set forth in a resolution so that the Municipal Code <br />would not have to be changed each time the Council wanted to change the fee. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to re-introduce Ordinance No. <br />1605, mending the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding in-lieu park dedication fees. <br />The vote was as followS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />8. REVIEW OF MAIN STREET UTILITY BOX COVERS (SR 93:361) <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner asked about the cost of $15,000. Mr. Higdon explained that this is pan <br />of the budget, not an addition. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver asked about the small cobbles adjacent to the utility box cover and how they <br />can be secured. Mr. Higdon indicated the will be set in sand next to the utility box. <br /> <br /> There was discussion regarding the contractor's ability to match the stamped pattern to <br />the hand laid cobblestones. The contractor has indicated the final product will have a more <br />finished look and will match better than the sample, which was done very quickly. <br /> <br /> Gary Schwaegerly, 189 West Angela, indicated he had conducted an opinion poll and <br />indicated concern about the unlevel lids which could cause puddles and tripping. He also <br />indicated a preference for the street light lanterns to be gold on the green poles. <br /> <br /> The Councilmembers indicated they had heard comments both for the gold lanterns and <br />for green lanterns. (Since this specific item was not on the agenda, the matter will be discussed <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, seconded by Mayor Tarver, to approve the stamped <br />cobblestone pattern for the utility box covers. <br />The vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmembers - Dennis and Pico <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />9/1/93 - 6 - <br /> <br /> <br />
