Proclaim June 6-13, 1999 as Scleroderma Awareness Month and encourage all <br />' Pleasanton residents to become educated about scleroderma and support the efforts of the <br /> foundations and those sponsors who will contribute funds to do research into a cure for <br /> this chronic, degenerative disorder which leads to the over production of collagen in the <br /> body's connective tissue. <br /> <br /> d. Introduce Ordinance No. 1778, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br /> amending Chapters 20.04 through 20/34, 20.48, 20.52 and adding Chapter 20.58 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning the adoption of the 1998 edition of the California <br /> Building Standards Code (24 C.C.R.), including by reference the Uniform Codes for <br /> Building (Parts 1, 2, 3); Fire (Parts 1 and 2); Plumbing; mechnical; Building Conservation, <br /> (Appendix Chapter 1); the 1996 National Electrical Code; Housing (925 C.C.R.); <br /> Administrative; abatement of Dangerous Buildings; Signs; Administrative Provisions for <br /> the 1996 National Electrical Code; Solar Energy; and the Swimming Pool, SPA and Hot <br /> Tub. (SR99:140) <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis said May is "Grounding Prevention" month and thought the new fencing and <br /> alarm standards around were appropriate. <br /> <br /> e. Adopt Resolution No. 99-055, authorizing the City Manager to sign a deed quitclaiming to <br /> Shea Homes the City's interest in a 35 foot wide access and utility easement to the <br /> Tassajara Reservoir and authorize the City Manager to accept a grant of easement from <br /> Shea Homes for a 35 foot wide access and utility easement. Authorize the City to enter into an Agreement with Tesco Control Systems, Inc. for the <br /> purchase of equipment to upgrade the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System <br /> (SCADA) for the City' s water system.
