MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mayl8, 1999 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He said the Memorial Day <br />weekend is rapidly approaching and wanted to take a moment to reflect on the patrons who have <br />given their life to protect the freedom of every citizen and what is happening in Kosovo. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben <br />Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attomey; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; and Randall Lum, <br />Public Works Director; and Wayne Rasmussen, Principal Planner. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala requested Item 6g be heard first under the public hearings. <br /> Ms. Acosta said the presentation by PG&E has been moved to another date. <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, that the following actions be <br />taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />a. Approve City Council Minutes for May 4, 1999, as amended. <br /> <br />b.
