Ms. Michelotti asked about the School District property. She understood that the San Francisco Board of Supervisors approved the proposal, which will now go to Mayor Brown for signature and then the escrow will proceed. Ms. Ayala clarified for the public that the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve the sale of the Case Avenue site to the School District. It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Pico, to put an item on a future agenda regarding the City's purchase of the Bernal property. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Pico. NOES: None. ABSENT: Mayor Tarver. ABSTAIN: None. Ms. Michelotti asked to look at the City's bonding capacity for the LAVWMA project. Ms. Ayala requested that the updates from the School Liaison Committee meetings regarding school impact fees be put on the agenda as needed. She said the next scheduled meetings of the Liaison Committee/School District are May 5 at 4:30 p.m., May 10 at 7:30 a.m., and May 17 at 7:30 a.m. Ms. Acosta indicated that the first meeting was held with BART and Dublin to see if there is a possibility of a public/private partnership to build the west BART station. 8. CLOSED SESSION Council adjourned to a closed session at 10:30 p.m. to confer with legal Counsel regarding potential litigation against the County of Alameda concerning the issue as to how many signatures are needed in order to place the Zone 7 issue on the ballot. 10. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the meeting was adjoumed at 11:00 p.m. to meet again in Regular Session on May 4, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
