It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to send a letter to Pleasanton's <br />Congressional representatives to urge support of the ban on assault weapons. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr referred to a report that BART will be including art in some of its stations and <br />requested that staff contact BART to ascertain if art will be included in the Pleasanton station. <br />She also suggested referring any proposed an to the An in Public Places Committee for review. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis requested information on library district assessment refunds from the <br />counties. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver requested an agenda item regarding the ABAG proposals for constitutional <br />amendments. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver announced "The Diablo Magazine" has awarded Pleasanton the Readers' <br />Choice for the best soccer fields. "The San Francisco Examiner" also had a very nice article <br />in the real estate section about Pleasanton. <br /> <br />9.
