Mr. Tarver requested a status report on the community survey. Ms. Acosta indicated
there have been a number of problems and staff will be presenting a final draft to see if Council
wants to proceed.

9. SPECIAL AND INFORMATION REPORTS

Item 9a
Actions of the Zonin~ Administrator and Plannin~ Commission. (IR 94:47)

No action was required or taken by Council.

Item 9b
Attendance Report for the Boards and Commissions (SR 94:260)

No action was required or taken by Council.

10, REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER

Item 10a
Extension of the Subdivision Agreement for Bonde RanCh, Tract 6483 (SR 94:256)

Randall Lum presented the staff report. He also discussed the City's policy to open
public streets to traffic, which generally occurs on~ the public improvements have been
accepted by the City. Staff will be coming back to Council requesting acceptance of this Tract
in a few weeks, at which time a precise date for opening Miradot Drive will be given.

Woody Pereira of Shapell Industries, 43 Golf Road, Pleasanton, indicated the subdivision
work has been completed and a call for final inspection was made July 21st. He stated he would
be available with other representatives should Council have any questions.

Mayor Tarvet wanted to be sure an item was agendized regarding the opening of Miradot
Drive. He felt since this issue was referred to the General Plan Review Committee, it removes
Miradot as being treated in the usual fashion. He would like the Steering Committee to have
an opportunity to comment on the appropriateness of opening Mindor. Once a street is opened,
there is a reluctance to then close the street.

08/02/94 10
