It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Mr. Dennis, authorizing the Mayor and/or <br />staff to send letters and/or give testimony concerning legislation clarifying the authority of local <br />agencies to enter into cooperative multi-agency agreements for regional planning. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6g <br />Review llnd Make ReCommendation Regarding AB 3156 (Emergency Medical Services) and <br />AB 2519 {Graffiti Prevention) (SR94: 149) <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta referred to AB 3156 and explained the history of the bill and her participation <br />in opposing it as the City Manager of this City. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, opposing AB 3156 and <br />adopting a neutral position on AB 2519. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: _. <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6h <br />Review of AB 2673 (Cortese) regarding Water Districts Allocation of Water Supplies <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver felt that Council should support the legislation, but believed that there <br />needed to be some modifications made to it. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Mayor Tarver, supporting Assembly Bill <br />2673 (Cortese) concerning water supply by public water agencies. <br /> <br /> A substitute motion was made by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that Council <br />take a neutral position until the final version is completed. <br /> <br />05/17/94 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
