Evans Company (SR94: 148) <br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff reports as to items (1) and (2). <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum stated that staff believed that Case Avenue will be capable of handling the <br />existing and proposed traffic flows. He pointed out the emergency access route. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian presented this staff report as to item (3). <br /> <br /> William McClure, 3236 Stone Valley Road, g210, Alamo, represented A.F. Evans <br />Company. He briefly explained the company and the types of projects it has constructed. He <br />also explained the Company's involvement with this project. <br /> <br /> Richard Caldwell, 400 2nd Street, San Francisco, an architect, presented slides which <br />showed the project in more detail. He explained the interior, exterior and landscaping of the <br />project and what the housing would look like in final form. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br /> Gary Haas, 5441 San Jose Drive, was opposed to this project because of the lack of <br />access to the project. He was concerned with the safety of the children, the increase in traffic <br />and problems with emergency access. He believed that an alternative road should be used rather <br />than Case Avenue. He was not opposed to low income housing in Pleasanton, but believed that <br />this was not the proper location for it. <br /> <br /> Nicole Rose, 4824 Bernal Avenue, #B, believed that this project looked very nice but <br />she was concerned with the element of people it would bring to Pleasanton. <br /> <br />05/03/94 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
