REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> Item 7a <br /> Lindate on Smoking OrdinanCe~ in Other Citie~ (SR94:11) <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Robert Barberian, 7471 Stonedale Drive, 94588, owner of Popi Lounge, supported the <br /> proposed changes to the previous ordinance and requested that cigarette machines be allowed in <br /> fleestanding bars because people under the age of 21 are not allowed in those facilities. <br /> <br /> Porter Hurt, 3000 Deer Meadow, Danville, owner of Shaboom's, asked that Council <br /> consider what kind of effect this type of ordinance is going to have on bars and taverns in <br /> Pleasanton.
