Mr. Pico agreed that this project would bring more retail to the City. He did have mixed feelings about WalMart until he visited the Livermore store. Mr. Pico also supported the project. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 94-03 be adopted, based on a review of an initial environmental impact study done for this project and on a finding that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and on further finding that a negative declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-85-08-SD, Prudential Insurance Company of North America. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Mixed Commercial/Office/and Industrial Planned Development, and Offices District.
