It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 95-84 retaining the $106,000 budget, with an information report to come back to Council in six months. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, and Pico NOES: Mayor Tarvet ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 4i Acceptance of nubHc imnrovements for Tract 6483 and Tract 6518. Bonde Ranch. ShapeH Industries. (SR95:238) Ms. Mohr stated she had several calls that asked that the Bonde Ranch issue and the barrier designs be televised. She asked that this item be continued to the 8/15/95 agenda. Charlotte Severin, 4513 Mirador Drive, recommended that the Bonde Ranch improvements not be accepted without the adequate barrier(s) in place. It was her understanding that when the improvements were accepted, then the street could be open. If Miradot Drive were to open, it needed the barrier(s) installed to prevent left turns. Mayor Tarver stated that what is there at this time is not the barrier he had in mind. Ms. Dennis asked if the improvements could be accepted, but the street not be opened until after the barrier is installed. Mr. Roush stated that when the improvements are accepted, then the street should be open to the public. He felt the better thing to do was to continue it to the 8/15/95 agenda where the issue could be resolved. Mr. Van Gelder stated that the staff needed direction of what the Council wants the barrier to be and what the funding for the barrier would be. Ms. Mohr asked if there was a time line for accepting the Bonde Ranch improvements. Mr. Itigdon stated the extended time to accept the improvements had already passed. Mr. Roush suggested waiting until the Council has given direction on what type of acceptable barrier will be installed before accepting the improvements for Bonde Ranch and/or opening Mirador Drive. 08/07/95 -21-
