There being no testimony, the public hearing <br />was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Resolution No. 95-62, <br />be adopted, to order the levy of annual assessments for the Pleasanton Downtown Business <br />Improvement District. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as followS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Pico <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />1994-95 Third Quarter Financial Report (SR95: 188) <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico stated that the budget amendment projects an increase of $2 millon dollars. <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi stated that the original budget projections were made a year ago before the <br />second and third quarter sales taxes were received. The sales tax came in so much higher that <br />it became the base for the current year. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico noticed a new "Urban Forestry Fund" and it has a small amount of money in <br />it. <br /> <br /> Ms. Rossi stated that it is a new fund that was created in the mid year report and the <br />money in the account pertains to heritage trees. The fund is to educate the public regarding the <br />value of the urban forests. <br /> <br />06/06/95 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
