Larry Levin, 3178 Weymouth Court, agreed with Mr Felix' comments. As a business
person, he wonders about the ethics of doing this survey, and feels the survey is an
inconvenience and waste of time to the business community.

A motion was made by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, approving the proposed
Community Survey Questionnaire, with the modifications as discussed.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

I1;em 6b
RZ-94-08, City of Pleasanton. (SR 95: 109)

This item is continued to the meeting of May 16, 1995.

Item 6c
PUD-81-30-309M/PUD-85-8-12M
Minor modification to PUD-81-30 and PUD-85-8 (the Hacienda Business Park governin~
PUD's) to conditionally permit private schools and colleges, including trade, business, music
and art schools, on sites within the IPD (Industrial Park) District in the Hacienda Busines.~
Park. (IR 95:24)

No action was required or taken on this item.

Item 6d
PUD-80-15-2D-SM
Minor modification to PUD-80-15-2D-SM Io conditionally increase the allowable square foot
area of parking-intensive uses from 10,000 sq. ft. to 17,000 sq. ft. in order to facilitate the
establishment of the Country Waffles restaurant in the Pimlico Plaza Retail Center. As
part of this application, a use classification for the existing, Trader Joe's store and a new
design for a trash enclosure in the front parking lot have been considered. (IR 95:23)

Brian Swift presented the staff report.

Mr. Pico inquired why this item was not considered by the Planning Commission. Mr.
Swift advised that staff worked extensively with the neighbors and found no objections to the
modification. Also, Country Waffles would like to relocate as soon as possible. Therefore,
staff did not attempt a major modification which would have taken several months to process.

04/18/95 -7-
