6. MATTERS CONTINUED OF DECISION <br /> <br />Item 6a <br />Request for water connection and approval of pre-annexation agreement for Dwyer and <br />Staley (10705 and 10633 Dublin Canyon Road) (SR 95:42) <br /> <br /> Randall A. Lum presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked if the existing wells had been serviced. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum indicated that had not been pursued. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if the property owners are required to pay for the expenses of <br />connecting the water. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lure indicated the property owners would be responsible for installation and <br />maintenance of all facilities. <br /> <br /> Margaret Tracy, 1262 Madison Avenue, Livermore, representing Preserve Area <br />Ridgelands Committee (PARC), indicated her concerns had been addressed and she was relieved <br />the City would control this area. She did not object to this action. <br /> <br /> Leni Dwyer, 10705 Dublin Canyon Road, agreed with the requirements and asked <br />Council for approval. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to approve the request from <br />Richard and Leni Dwyer and Ronald and Janice Staley for a water connection for their <br />respective residences at 10705 and 10633 Dublin Canyon Road; to approve the Preannexation <br />Agreements between the Dwyers, the Staleys and the City, and authorize the City Manage to <br />execute said Agreements; and to file an application with LAFCO for the extension of City water <br />services to the Dwyer and Staley residences. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />02/07/95 <br /> -7- <br /> <br /> <br />
