Mayor Tarver asked what the fire department does between weed abatement periods. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gary said anytime during the year if an individual notices a fire hazard the Fire <br /> Prevention Bureau at (925)454-2361 can be called. A fire inspector will be sent out to analyze the <br /> potential fire hazard and will provide fire mitigation advice. The house has been <br /> reshaped with new parameters that seem to work for everyone. He has already planted 15-gallon <br /> wax-leaf privets that will grow fast to screen his property from his neighbors. He showed a Queen <br /> Anne design plans for the house and indicated the house, if approved, would be approximately <br /> 3568 sq.ft.
