MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Scott Walsh, 2376 Greenbriar Court, introduced a special guest to the City of Pleasanton, <br />James Rocco from Blargowrie, Scotland. <br /> <br /> James Rocco, Blairgowrie, Scotland, said the City of Pleasanton is a wonderful city and <br />he was honored to be here. He said 30 students and 7 teachers would be visiting the City of <br />Pleasanton in October and that in August or September there would be 50 people from the City <br />of Pleasanton visiting Blairgowrie. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver appreciated the work put into getting the students and teachers to visit <br />Pleasanton and he was looking forward to the visit later in the year. <br /> <br /> Kathy Namm, Pleasanton Seahawks Swim Team, thanked the City for its support and <br />help in hosting the 1999 Far Western Short Course Swim Championship at the Dolores Bengtson <br />Aquatic Center. She mentioned 162 teams from 12 states participated in the event. She read a <br />letter from Mr. and Mrs. Dillingham stating what a wonderful event it was. The event could not <br />have been successful without the help from city staff. She said the Seahawks have been asked to <br />host the event next year. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver thanked the Project Manager of the Seahawks for such a successful event. <br /> Ms. Ayala said she was impressed with how organized the event was. <br /> <br />6.
