It was moved by Mr. Tarver, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to approve an agreement <br />with Prudential Insurance Company to satisfy its park obligation by assigning to the City <br />the surplus from NPID No. 3 in 1993 and the more recent surplus from NPID No. 1 and/or <br />No. 3. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYF_~: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelo~ti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOF~: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Nono <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Tarvex, seeou~d by Ms. Deuuis, to approve an agreement for <br />Wells Fargo to satisfy fis park obligatious by assiguing its NPID surplus, its entitlement to <br />the Dublin Boulevard Reimbursement and paying the diffexence wheu it pulls buffcling <br />permits. <br /> <br /> Mr. 1~co was concerned that the City is giving Wells Fargo an additional five years to <br />begin construction. Be felt the City should be putting pressure on it to develop its property <br />before the year 2000. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarvet indicated that when Wells Fargo was originally approved, he thought it would <br />be a presence in Pl~nton very quicldy. Bowever, with all the mergers and bank <br />consolidations, he understands the delay in development. In light of the desire to be "business <br />friendly", he felt a five year extension was worthwhile. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr agreed City imposed conditions do not force development, it is the market that <br />dictates construction. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />A~SF_~T: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Tarvex, seconded by Mr. Pico, that a park obligation be <br />imposed on the Stoneridge Corporate Plaza undeveloped lots and the obligation can be <br />satisfied by a surplus in the Stoneridge Business Center Assessment District 84-2, if one <br />should exist. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />05/07/96 -13- <br /> <br /> <br />
