(SR97:258) <br /> <br />Item 6af4) <br />Neighborhood hrk Mitigation Agreement in the Hacienda Business Park <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report for Item 6a(1) and 6a(2). <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked if Option 1 (under item 6a(2)) was based on people not coming <br />forward for building permits. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said under the existing growth management program a qualified lower income <br />housing project can apply any time. Council's rules with respect to the existing growth <br />management program allow approval of more than 750 units as long as those are not current <br />applications. He said the 78 units would not exceed the 750 new unit allocation. <br /> <br /> Steven Bocian presented the staff report for Item 6a(3). <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked what the value of the affordable housing fee is and if there were any <br />way to extend the term beyond thirty-five years? <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian said about $370,000. He said there had been discussions on extending the <br />term beyond thirty-five years. It was determined thirty-five years was reasonable. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if the fee would be $300,000 a year beyond the thirty-five years? <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian said it is $300,000 a year currently.
