It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution <br />97-34 approving the Youth Vision Statement and Policy for Youth. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />Public Hearing regardin2 the City of Heasanton Weed Abatement Program for 1997. <br />(SR97: 125) <br /> <br /> Fire Chief Gary presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing opened. <br /> <br /> There being no speakers, the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution No. <br />97-35 approving the 1997 Weed Abatement Program and authorizing staff to proceed with <br />abatement of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties <br />within the City of Pleasanton which constitute a public nuisance. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6Cl <br />Specific Plan Amendment SPA-95-01. Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan. Alameda County <br />Application to modify the adopted Stoneridge Drive S_necific Plan to reduce the amount of <br />COmmercial acreage from 103 acres to approximately 40 acres. include 45 acres of new <br />residential !and uses at the Medimn Density residential range (2-8 units per acre). and <br />relocate and expand the 17-acre active use community park to a 33-acre community sports <br />park. A Final Supplemental environmental Impact Report has been prepared which <br />evaluateS the potential environmental impacts of the proposed amendment. The <br />approximately 128-acre is located south of Interstate 1-580. east of the California Somerset <br />and CalifOrnia Place neighborhoods, and north of the Kaiser sand and gravel site. <br /> <br />A!S0 consider certification of the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report.
