Accept the improvements for resurfacing of various city streets, Project No. <br />965003C; authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject <br />project; authorize final payment to Galeridge Construction in the amount of <br />$304.95; authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $17,347.23 to <br />Galeridge Construction thirty days after filing the Notice of Completion; approve <br />the attached contract amendment No.1 which increases the not-to-exceed limit <br />of the BSK & Associates geotechnical services contract for the subject project to <br />$1,100; and authorize the City Manager to execute the attached Contract <br />Amendment No.1 with BSK & Associates. (SR98:235) <br /> <br />Ms. Dennis felt the asphalt curbs did not hold up or look as impressive. She <br />liked the concrete curbs better. <br /> <br />Ms. Michelotti said a wooden sound wall along Vineyard Avenue near the <br />mobilehome park needed some attention. <br /> <br />Mr. Lum said staff is aware of the situation. <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver voted no on this item. <br /> <br />k.
