AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Acosta said Item 4f, acceptance of public improvements for the remodel of and <br />addition to the Pleasanton Police Department, 4833 Bernal Avenue, Project No. 968026, has <br />been removed from the agenda. Item 4h, contract amendment No. 1 with Don Her for <br />engineering services for Fire Station No.4 Administrative Facility has been continued to <br />October 6. Item 6g, appeal by New Cities Development, has been continued indefinitely and <br />Item 4a, Minutes for 9/1/98, has been moved to October 6. <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver requested Item 6e, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />annual review; Item 6f, discussion regarding subcommittee of the Council for West Dublin <br />BART station planning, be continued to October 6, due to tonight's agenda. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following actions <br />be taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />a. Approve .the City Council Minutes for 9/1/98. <br />This item was continued to October 6, 1998. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim September 14-20 as Harmony Week, urging all Pleasanton residents to <br />join in the chorus and express their love of song and go see the "Pot of Gold" in <br />barbershop harmony performances on September 19, 1998 at the Amador <br />Theater. <br /> <br />c. Proclaim September 21-27 as Pollution Prevention Week, urging all citizens and <br />businesses of Pleasanton to participate in local and regional celebratory and <br />educational activities. <br /> <br />d. Proclaim September 21-25 as Lawsuit Abuse Awareness Week, encouraging <br />citizens to support fundamental reforms to safeguard and improve our civil justice <br />system. <br /> <br />e. Approve the Improvement Plans and Final Map for Tract 7008, Stoneridge <br />Square - Village 3; authorize the City Manager to execute the subdivision <br />agreement for the above development and accept all parcels of land and easements <br />offered for dedication on the final map.
