It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution No. <br />98-16, naming the three acre neighborhood park to be located in North Pleasanton to <br />Owens Plaza Park, and the 6.6 acre neighborhood park to be located in North Pleasanton <br />to Creekside Park. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said she preferred the name Diablo View Park for the three acre park. <br />She did not like the name Owens because it reminded her of being near the BART station. Also <br />she could see Mt. Diablo from the park and felt the name of the mountain should be <br />incorporated. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said there had been a considerable amount of discussion on the names and felt <br />there was no reason not to support staff's recommendation. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, Pico and Vice Mayor Dennis. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarver <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6h <br />Suspension of certificate of public convenience Of Pleasanton City Cab Company.
