There was no public testimony. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 98-18, approving the request of Black Mountain Homes (Carriage Gardens) to move <br />nine units from 1997 to 1999; approving Greenbriar Homes request for 49 units in 1998 <br />and 62 units in 1999; and authorizing the City Attorney to prepare and the City Manager <br />to execute growth management agreements to accomplish the above. <br />The roll call vote was as followS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, Pico and Vice Mayor Dennis. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarver <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6a <br />Ordinance No. 1719 of the City of Pleasanton providing for the regulation of fiream Sales <br />through a permitting process and prohibiting the sale of "Saturday Night Specials" by <br />amending Title 6 and Title 20 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Michael Roush presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked how many guns were on the banned gun roster. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush said there were nineteen manufacturers that were listed on the roster and then <br />within those manufacturers there were different models. He believed there were at least sixty <br />models listed on the roster. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if there was any documentation that identified the manufacturer and <br />models or that addressed the specific deficiencies that were listed in the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush said Whit Collins provided information as to which parts of the ordinance the <br />manufacturers might violate. Some violate at least one part of the ordinance and some all three <br />parts. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if the manufacturers violated the original patents in which they were <br />issued? <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush said some do not. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said he was trying to understand how the guns listed on the roster deviated from <br />their original patents. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 3/03/98 <br />Minutes 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
