Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Charles Huff, 30 W. Neal Street, Suite 200, project architect, agreed with the staff report <br />and agreed to the conditions set forth in the staff report. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to introduce <br />Ordinance No. 1736, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Janet Burton for PUD Development Plan approval as f'ded <br />under Case PUD-97-13, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers -Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarvet. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 98-04, approving the application of Janet Burton for a conditional use permit as f'ded <br />under Case PUD-97-13, subject to the conditions listed in the staff report. <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Modification of Chapter 17.16 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Tree Preservation <br />Ordinance. (SR98: 15) <br /> <br /> This item was continued to February 3, 1998. <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Review of the draft 20-year strategic plan for the Alameda County Fair. (SR98:021) <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked for public testimony. <br /> <br /> Robert Cordtz, 262 W. Angela, objected to the late time this item was being heard. He <br />felt residents did not have the fight to voice their concerns. He discussed his frustration with <br />the Fair Board and Alameda County's strategic plan. He said the plan did not make any sense. <br />He complained of noise and the proposed commuter railroad station. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayaia asked if he had read the letter to Mr. May from the City.
