Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. Charles Huff, 30 W. Neal Street, Suite 200, project architect, agreed with the staff report and agreed to the conditions set forth in the staff report. There being no further public testimony, the public hearing was closed. It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to introduce Ordinance No. 1736, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of Janet Burton for PUD Development Plan approval as f'ded under Case PUD-97-13, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers -Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarvet. NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Pico ABSTAIN: None It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 98-04, approving the application of Janet Burton for a conditional use permit as f'ded under Case PUD-97-13, subject to the conditions listed in the staff report. Item 6d Modification of Chapter 17.16 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Tree Preservation Ordinance. (SR98: 15) This item was continued to February 3, 1998. Item 6e Review of the draft 20-year strategic plan for the Alameda County Fair. (SR98:021) Mayor Tarver asked for public testimony. Robert Cordtz, 262 W. Angela, objected to the late time this item was being heard. He felt residents did not have the fight to voice their concerns. He discussed his frustration with the Fair Board and Alameda County's strategic plan. He said the plan did not make any sense. He complained of noise and the proposed commuter railroad station.
