Mayor Tarver asked if Mr. Cordtz had submitted his concerns to the Fair Board and to <br />the Board of Supervisors because they are the bodies that would ultimately adopt the strategic <br />plan. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cordtz suggested cutting off services until an agreement could be reached that <br />benefitted everyone. He felt the Council did not care about the citizens that lived by the railroad <br />tracks. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said Council felt the Liaison Committee would have success in working <br />with the Fair Board. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said, as to the code enforcement issue, under the agreement between the City <br />and the County, it was decided that either the City or the County would be identified to enforce <br />the code. The process is positively moving forward. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the staff report could be sent along with the letter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said yes. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said it would be helpful to incorporate as much information in the report <br />as possible to communicate the concerns that persist. He said it was difficult to get the County <br />to agree to letting the City participate. Council believed the process would work. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cordtz said when he attended the Altamont Board meeting he discovered the fare <br />schedule discrepancies. He mentioned several other things that did not make sense. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if he attended the Fair Board meetings? She suggested he contact the <br />Liaison Committee. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cordtz said he did not know when the meetings were. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said staff will try to notify Mr. Cordtz of the meetings. <br /> <br /> There was a consensus to direct staff to send the draft letter in the staff report along <br />with all backup information. <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />Review a LAVW1VIA proposal for development of a public information program for the <br />proposed wastewater disposal expansion pro. leer.
