MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Paul Corrado, 1519 Fairview Court, expressed concern about the loss of trees in the City <br />and cited several places where trees had been removed due to construction and not replaced. <br />There is a need for shaded parking areas and he urged Council to keep this in mind when <br />approving projects. His next concern was with aircraft noise and low flights. He felt the <br />problems would increase following the upgrades to the Livermore Airport and the new runway <br />at the Oakland Airport. He objected to the increased use of temporary storage containers around <br />the city and felt public buildings should have at least minimum landscaping design and not <br />permanent trailers. He also felt the postal situation needed to be looked at. San Ramon has <br />Saturday service and Pleasanton should also. He lamented the elimination of the Design Review <br />Board. <br /> <br /> Dorene Paradiso, 3168 Paseo Granada, referred to the shooting incident at the <br />Fairgrounds and indicated the young man was not subject to the 10-20-Life penalty because the <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 3 07/2 1/98 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
