Ms. Acosta said during the presentation of the budget the dollars were included separately <br />in next year's budget. <br /> <br /> Ms. Pico asked if the other transit services would be incorporated in the brochures. <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said the services are referenced currently and would continue to be <br />referenced. The new brochures and vehicles will include the new City logo and the City is <br />working with LAFTA to include verbiage to reference each other. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the disabled funding that came through LAFTA would go back <br />to LAFTA? <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said the funds stay with LAFTA. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti understood if Measure B did go forward the funds would increase to <br />$246,000. <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said that is correct and the service almost doubles during the same time <br />frame. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked what the $7500 covered regarding the graphic artist. She asked if this <br />was a specialty item that could not be done in-house. <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said the money covers the design of the material; but the printing of the <br />materials would be done in-house. She wanted to create a client handbook that would meet the <br />diversity needs and has different kinds of print and layout. She would like to retain a graphic <br />artist that has worked with the disabled and senior citizen population. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the listing in the phone book would be changing? <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said it is listed under the government pages, City of Pleasanton, Department <br />of Parks and Community Services, Senior Center, then Dial-a-Ride. She has requested that it <br />be listed as its own business in the business directory and then under the City of Pleasanton as <br />Pleasanton Paratransit Service. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the brochures would reference Dial-a-Ride as Pleasanton <br />Paratransit and if staff was making the public aware of the name change? <br /> <br /> Ms. Morley said staff is using the new name and making the public aware.
