-3- <br /> <br />Consultant compensation is provided for as follows= <br /> <br /> All non-commissionable media (newspapers) is to be paid <br /> direct by client, with the consultant coordinating <br /> contracts and placements. Such outside suppliers as <br /> typographers, photographers and printers will be paid by <br /> the consultant and charged back to the client. <br /> <br /> Project time for creative and production services, <br /> public relations services and special projects such as <br /> research are provided on an hourly rate basis and billed <br /> by project. See budget attached. <br /> <br /> Budget estimates are provided for all programs and, <br /> where necessary, quotations on individual projects are <br /> supplied. In addition to revenues derived from standard <br /> fee charges for direct project time, a supplementary <br /> service fee arrangement is agreed upon. Based on <br /> experience with similar clients and budgets, a retainer <br /> fee of $10,500 for 6 months is requested, commencing with <br /> the month of May or on such date as shall be agreed. <br /> $1,750 will be billed in the first month and $1,750 <br /> monthly thereafter, ending in October 1988. <br /> <br /> The retainer shall include weekly meetings between <br /> consultant principal and North Pleasanton Improvement <br /> District representatives and the supervision of such <br /> client subcontractors as sign firms and printers. <br /> <br /> The fee service arrangement will be reviewed at the end <br /> of the first three months and at the end of the six month <br /> period. <br /> <br /> <br />
