-2- <br /> <br /> 6. Participate in NPID committee meetings every other month <br /> and meet with subcommittee chairperson weekly. <br /> <br /> 7. Provide public relations counsel and maintain on-going <br /> publicity projects in accordance with the plan. <br /> <br /> 8. Coordinate all projects, ensuring adherence to standards, <br /> providing budget information and maintaining good <br /> relations with media representatives on your behalf. We <br /> will bring to your attention any special media <br /> opportunities that arise. <br /> <br /> 9. Maintain internal procedures that ensure budget control, <br /> prompt billing and quality control. <br /> <br />10. Provide regular contact reports on all meeting decisions, <br /> regular financial and project status reports. <br /> <br />Approvals and authority are provided for as follows: <br /> <br /> The consultant will submit to client for approval all <br /> advertising plans and campaigns; copy, layouts, artwork, <br /> storyboards and scripts; media schedules; cost estimates <br /> of these various items when required; and other specified <br /> projects. The consultant will therefore require the <br /> client's authority before ordering production materials, <br /> making contracts with suppliers and making reservations <br /> or contracts for media space or time. <br /> <br /> The consultant will notify the client of all space and/or <br /> time ordered and amendments thereto. <br /> <br /> The North Pleasanton Improvement District will designate <br /> in writing whom within the organization may sign <br /> approvals and authorizations. <br /> <br /> The client may request changes, or cancellations, or <br /> stop any work in progress, provided they are within <br /> the consultant's contractual obligations. Where changes, <br /> or cancellations, are requested, on previously approved <br /> work, the client will reimburse the consultant for <br /> unrecoverable changes or expenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
